H. Allen Benowitz, President of Worldwide Videoconference Sales & Rentals, has served the business, legal, and medical communities in South Florida and nationwide, providing videoconference solutions since 1989.
Mr. Benowitz founded the first videoconferencing network in the U.S. geared to the needs of the legal profession. In the early '90s, his company expanded its client base to the business, financial, and health care communities. He has been published and featured in numerous articles, is a consultant and lecturer, including a conference at Florida International University regarding telemedicine.
Of 70 companies nominated, Mr. Benowitz was honored as a finalist in 2000, and nominated again for 2001, for the Greater Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce's Annual Cutting Edge Award. His company was also listed in The Business Journal's "Top 40" of the fastest growing technology companies in Florida, and ranked 10th in the Top 25 of the "A-List - South Florida's Fastest Growing High-Tech Firms" in the Miami Daily Business Review. Miami Business Magazine featured Benowitz and the company in a story published in its March 2000 issue. He has appeared on WLRN public television, "You Should Know" and "The Business Exchange," which aired in South Florida.
